Visitors may now venture to the City of New England’s new official website, NDNewEngland.com.

Staff Report

The city launched a new website Aug. 10 and City Auditor Jason Jung said the new site will mean improved results for the community and visitors.

“Our new website will make it easier for people to navigate information like our ordinances; and will serve as a more organized and user-friendly community hub,” Jungsaid. “The main thing is that it brings all the departments and facilities into one website and allows for utility bill payment online.”

Jung said there are pages for the parks and recreation departments as well as the police and fire departments, city ordinances and area businesses.

Jung said an additional asset is the community calendar has been implemented so visitors and community members can easily find out what is going on around town.

“The calendar is shared for the community,” Jung said. “People

can contact me and I can add the event within a few days to the calendar.”

Jung is most excited that residents can make bill payments through the website and that it will be much easier for residents to find their way through the payment system.

“We didn’t have this capability in the past [accepting payments],” Jung said. “This will be a major improvement for people who are looking for government information, or just for something to do in New England. We think it’s going to be a great asset for us.”
